Since taking over the business of Coomber Bros Jewellers in 2007, Gary and Carol have imported Diamonds from all over the world.  A regular yearly trip to Antwerp, Belgium the Diamond capital of the world has helped Gary & Carol to become known as sellers of fine Diamonds, they have established contacts both in Australia and around the world and have had the chance to meet and deal with some of the best known Diamond cutters and brokers in the world.

Gary & Carol were honoured when in March 2007, Coomber Bros Jewellers was recognised and appointed an Antwerp Diamond Broker.  This allows Gary the use of a designated office in Antwerp to sort and purchase Diamonds direct from the cutters of Belgium.

"Its not easy or quick to pick the right Diamond for the customer." says Gary.  "I have to take into consideration colour, clarity, cut and the size".  This may mean that one Diamond may be a better colour than another but the cut is not as good so doesn't sparkle as nicely as the lower coloured Diamond".  "By having direct access to the cutters themselves and a far larger range to choose from, ensures I can choose the best Diamond at the best price."

When buying direct from Antwerp we find that Diamonds starting at .50ct and up are where the savings are made.  Anything smaller can be found here in Australia for good prices.
